About Ed

I have lived in Hanover, Germany, for about 18 months now, the majority of which I have spent grappling with the German language and getting used to the German way of life. I am now proud to say that I almost always arrive on time! Prior to my relocation to Germany, I lived and worked in Spain as a teacher and translator. I carried out substantial translations for the modern art gallery in Valladolid, ‘El Museo Patio Herreriano’, and also for the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site at Völklinger Hütte, Germany, during an EU Leondardo da Vinci scheme funded internship.

I have four years of experience as an English teacher and have taught people of all ages and levels, both individually and in groups. Clients have included multinational companies such as Ibedrola in Spain, TUI Travel, Exxon Mobil and the Deutsche Bank in Germany, as well as the Institute for Journalism and Communication Research and the State Opera House in Hanover.
